Resilience Training is something everyone needs, would you say?

From a young age, it would be something I would have on the School Timetable.
It may not be a subject that comes easily to mind till you need to be it – Resilient.
However, when you do, it is vital you can access the sometimes life-saving skills
.
Life saving from a point of view of coming through challenges whole and safe.
Life saving in that you can become preventative and avoid the pitfalls.
Life saving in that you can be far less stressed and strained in everyday occurrences.
Most companies need their staff to be resilient. Especially staff dealing with other people.
So bring it up on your priority scale.
It’s a provision of Training with Anne, who enjoys seeing you explore and gain new skills.

Our schools are struggling with stressed out teachers….

I have worked now with Primary, Junior and Senior school staff regarding high levels of sickness due to high levels of Stress. That dreaded word in Education. Ofsted and Stress. Those two dreaded, linked words.

Recently worked with a Primary school, teachers and assistants, to bring a calmer sense of management of the large work load, the pressures they face and handle, without any recourse to HOW. This is what is missing in our Education system, I think. What are called new initiatives are constantly being brought along for the Staff to absorb and deliver. Extra pressures.

What is NOT brought in alongside all of this is the way of how to deal with it, how to deal with the new thinking, the new demands, the effect it has on staff not managing the increase in work load, simply because there is so much of it, the demoralisation of Self in the criticism they suffer under unrealistic expectations of them. Gradually it takes it toll, constantly they are adjusting and becoming used to the pressure. They don’t notice that till a crisis appears perhaps, or there is lots of sickness amongst the Staff.

This is where an insightful Head Teacher or Deputy can put into place the type of Workshop that Coaching NorthWest delivers, Stress Management, and the recent one was no exception. The Staff are genuinely doing their very best, a great group of people.

The feedback said they were pleased with the information, the usefulness of it, the motivational influence and content. Cheers to this school for giving me the opportunity to give them skills, techniques, and thought processes to support them through a challenging time.

I am certainly passionate about my work and what I can do to improve people’s lives. I am sure this hard working, deep thinking group of people felt that, and will put this info, delivered over a few sessions to good use, and not only feel more in control of their way forward at work,  but be happier, calmer people to boot. They deserve that.

A person looking for Peace in their life would be wise to restore Peace for themselves.

Someone who is looking to be Angry will definitely engage you that way. They will stay angry in effort to keep you engaged in their conflict.

Having a PURPOSE and positive Relationships

in your life, is apparently massively supportive of a longer life than those who do not.

Many people wander through Life without one or the other – and generally a low sense of Life Purpose will result in negativity also in relationships.

A study undertaken by the NHS and the Psychological Sciences according to the International Therapists Magazine suggests that in a study taken over 14 years, that those who scored low points indicating not much sense of purpose, tended to die sooner than those of the opposite belief.

Freedom!

A lady  has been talking about gaining Freedom. And how losing this and that is the way. For me, Freedom is found Within, not something you do to achieve it. I think it has been said before, but something I believe, that your MIND is the key to Freedom.

That even if a prisoner on whatever level, no one, no thing, can take away your thoughts. And these are your possessions, your creations of your Freedom.

Stressed out with Life? Law of how to change Life.

Most common thread presently is the Stress of needing to Change Life and it’s events.

Well everything is tumbling around you and stress management is much needed or positivity is miles away and the negative is

winning superbly well – think on the Law of Nature, or Life is strong in it’s impact.

It is this – to be successful in Life, Love, whatever is important to you at that point, be aware that you need an “I CAN attitude”

Ok, it may take time to develop, it may take someone to hold your hand to get there, that’s fine. But instead of saying over “I can’t” that needs to change

into I CAN! When you constantly tell yourself you can’t do something, your clever subconscious will find a way to ensure you don’t succeed.

when you begin to believe you can do something – your subconscious mind begins to find solutions, events, ideas to heop you succeed!

Take that first step, take out time to do something positive to begin a move forward.

Change that thought, to change the feeling, to have a new motivation, which will result in new action!

This will lead you to the right people, the right or better strategy, a better belief system, a new and stronger attitude.

All these things create a better world for you from which will spring opportunities, events, differences that are positive.

Take that first brave step. Step out. Bring on the Change! Be kind to you!

Ardent Credit Card Services at Moorgate Point Knowsley.

Great people, who worked really well with me to introduce the Staff to good communication skills and renew their thoughts around working with the public.

In a short space of one morning, 12 of their staff worked in two groups with me to stimulate new thinking processes, and absorb lots of great new ideas for their

Well Being. We covered some Nutritional aspects, Positive Thinking, Anger Mangement, Communication with Difficult People, Stress Management, but focused mainly on the Positive Communication skills that come from knowing yourself – ie Personal Development.

Yes, it brought out new thinking, awareness, curiosity and new skills, enough to develop the Staff’s approach and attitude to their work, and their own lives.

Answers to overwhelm at busy times….

If this is your norm – that Overwhelm hits you at very busy times, here’s a few thoughts to re-think your feelings.

Point one: Ignore the idea of being Perfect! Yes really. Just drop the whole idea.

Do only what is needed then add on any extras you have the inclination and energy for.

Remove quite deliberately the “have-to” “must-do” “ought-to” from your language – and therefore from your thinking.

You will find things flow much more easily and all that really needs to happen, WILL.

The other way gives you stress major, tension, and create someone not that easy to be around – including for yourself!

You will permenantly be forcing yourself, and landing on Wednesday and Thursday with major issues you have created.

Point two: suggest you keep caffeine right down if not out, and replace with plain fluids to prevent too much adrenaline in your system.

Point three: Just let things be Ok – keep perspective, keep laughing, let things go by, remember to be respectful and grateful.

End! Busy times also quieten. Create not your own stress areas into overwhelm. Create its an “ok” situation.

What qualities do our major important relationships need?

We all need close relationships. Sharing is a major human need.

But how many create the problems that destroy them in the first place?

In all of my experience, I can honestly say that the study that provided clear pointers in this direction rang true.

Relationships you want to last deserve to be treated well. If you want to preserve them, we need to be aware of our attitudes.

They are built on mutual respect and trust and this is maintained through countless moments of interactions that either

maintain or undermine the success of these qualities.

 

If you are struggling with relationships at work, at home in friendships consider this:

One moment that creates more potential for good or harm more than any other?

What is your answer to this pivotal question?

The study reveals one really highlighted point.

Being ignored. Immediate response is the most important response.

Even if you are not able to take any other action at that point.

Think about this. More next time.
