how to switch off your brain! (5 minute trick)

On a daily basis we think thousands of thoughts!

When it comes to switching off at the end of a busy working day – and knowing you are maybe facing the family with more issues to resolve – how do you walk away from the “Office” in your head?

There are a variety of ways, but best of all, please use one that doesn’t include alcohol! This does not in fact resolve, but create more issues.

One very simple trick I gave a Mum who is having a fabulous career running her own company – but surrounded by 3 daughters issues at the end of a strenuous day….

A piece of paper and a pen – that is all she needed.

To pen in a time she must stop the Work Load. Then onto that paper she wrote any remaining ideas, thoughts and things to do for the next day.

She was given 5 minutes to complete this task.

It works. In 5, Chris was able to empty her mind of relevant tasks and thoughts for the next session at the Office.

Then she could return home, and Be IN THE NOW, be present, be focused on her family.

Her mind wasn’t constantly turning over ideas and thoughts for the next day.

Brain was clear, work was switched off , nothing lost.

Blank sheet, pen. It works after any busy activity.

Let me know how you get on!
